How the V8s took over drifting....
Pretty cool article/video about the evolution of drifting, and how the V8 engines have become the norm. If you have A.D.D., you can skip ahead to 11:15 and see interview with a guy that's driving a Camaro "SS" (it has an LS9 and he says 720hp).
Enjoy!
How the V8 became drifting's engine of choice

Said it has an LS7. Very cool though! If tires weren't so expensive I'd love to get into drifting.

I'm only 29, but still know that's from Mr. Mom. Well, you sound like a pretty handy guy.

Then you are well-rounded, and I applaud you!
Btw, did you realize that movie was made in 1983, which is 29 years ago?

Didn't know it was as old as me, lol. Knew it was a while ago though by the looks of Tom Hanks.

Taking back my applause. It was Michael Keaton.

LOL! I always get those two mixed up. It was Batman indeed.

I knew what movie you were talking about, but the line is actually ".357, .358...whatever it takes". Which makes more sense since they were discussing handguns at that point in the movie.
Wait, is that showing my age?

I don't know that one, but I was talking about Mr. Mom, when his wife's boss asks him about re-wiring the garage. He says "Are you using 220?" and he says "Yeah, 220....221, whatever it takes...."
Was that a nod to the handgun movie or vice versa? Which came first, the chicken or the egg?
