Vintage, I don't think the forum is dead. I agree with highlander. Ever notice how on one of the other forums the same topics keep popping up again and again and again...and again. I mean how many times can we discuss the difference between LT and ST headers, which CAI to go with, which supercharger to go with, how much power can my engine handle, what's better between a V6 and V8, what did you do to your car today... And when those topics are brought up over and over you get 20 members all saying 5 different things which then turns into an argument. Not to mention the other site has a section where people simply post the most meaningless and insignificant things simply to drive their post count up. Take away all the nonsense, useless drivel, redundant topics, bragging, hate, trolls, and pages and pages worth of arguments and the other site would be just as "dead" as you think this one is. It's all smoke and mirrors buddy...don't be fooled.

I'm going to get flamed all to hell but honestly..I think a big deal is that the 'wow' factor has worn off from the Camaro a lot. When it first came out it was the ****, everyone loved it, everyone wanted it, everyone stopped and looked in awe when they saw it drive by. Now it's just another car on the road. Hell..even Tim sold his a while back.

It was like a firecracker..a loud *POP*..a lot of ooh's and aah's..now it's just "now what?"

Probably some truth to that, but i'm still happy when i see another one on the road. This place will be buzzin again when the 6th gen "spy shots" get leaked.

I think there is a lot of truth here in these two posts. The question for all the members here is what do you want to see new, better, or different on the site? What would draw more members and more postings without the reposts and other things mentioned above?

Too funny! I still get comments about my baby all the time. What is really hilarious is when a guy watches this little 5'3" chick climb out of her, makes a comment, and then proceeds to ask me what she's got under the hood. I love the look on their face when it dawns on them I know what I'm talking about. I'm a girl not a pair of ...well anyway. The stereotypes are unreal sometimes. (I never bother to tell them that I also have a master's degree LOL...that would really blow some guys' minds huh?)

And yeah, I am out cruising more than ever sitting here on the boards. Sometimes, I just drive her around town because she feels so nice to be in, even if I have nowhere to go. It de-stresses me totally!

When everyone gets over their warranty "concerns" then I think it will pick up. Only a few of us seem to tune the cars or do some other things that bring the car to life. Most seem to add lights, paint and rims for now. Gets a bit boring really.
