yesterday i had noticed that my truck had sprung a leak in the parking lot at work... I was dreading the investigation . As I walked closer my stomach started to tighten .. yep.. the radiator. I hadn't put 5k on it since I had replaced it . Fearing the worst I could not recall if I had bought the limited lifetime unit... I start digging thru my candy box and pull out my envolope for the truck... I JUST WON THE LOTTERY!!!!! There it was the reciept for the LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY RADIATOR (01/18/2009)... called the store to have them go ahead and order it and I pick it up when it comes in....I HIT DOUBLE JACKPOT!!! they had one in stock... the wrenches start to fly out of the tool box and its a well orcastrated event... the old radiator out and in back of ( I kringed at this part ) of the camaro since it was the only car I could get out of the driveway since my truck was in the way of the other cars. Radiator removal, parts exchange and reinstall, coolant added to level and no leaks in under 90 minutes and no accedent to the trunk of the camaro.
My wife thinks I am O.C.D. when it comes to reciepts. LOL.. saved me $200.

Think I will start looking for me a beat around car... something Im not afraid to bang up or get scratched... lol.

the camaro trunk is much bigger than I realized.. it will hold a radiator from a full size truck without having to let the back seat down.

I usually save mine just for that purpose wtg save them dollars for something else

I bought an additional laser for Halloween this year (major production for a display here) hooked it up and it worked. Threw the receipt away Sunday, later same eve turned it back on,,, dead. Dug receipt out of trash and was able to exchange. I typically keep most receipts and as soon as I throw one away it comes back to haunt me.

I keep all my receipts related to my Camaro in a folder.

I'm completely OCD when it comes to receipts. For Jade, I have a complete folder with every single receipt and pictures documenting what I've done to her. I go as far as keeping scheduled maintenance receipts from the dealership. I'm a firm believer that when you go to sell a car, if you can prove all the work, you're more likely to get top dollar for it.

Good thing about AutoZone, you don't need your receipt. They can look the purchase up without through there computer.

I keep all of mine.. for all my auto's and the house and food.. .. lets just say.. any receipt period
