Gills Installed

I was finally able to get my car out of the garage and give her a good wash.

I also installed the RPI Designs side vent vinyl inserts that I bought over the winter and I cannot believe what it does for the look of the car. I dont know why GM didnt do this from factory as I think they look awesome.

Here is the before\after:

I was going to say the same thing. The more I see those the more I'm thinking of adding them to mine.

I couldnt believe how different the car now looks with those 3 black lines. Highly recommended mod especially for $18.

I removed my lines which were nothing more than decals that outlined the rear portion of the gills and added the faded gills. I like these so much better as they give the appearance of actual side vents because of the dot matrix that is used to create the graphic. They are light toward the front and fade darker to the rear, plus they're clear so your car color shows through making them look more real. The dimension is what makes them look real. Anyway, regardless which way you go, the accent is a plus to the car.

I personally think the car should have come with some sort of graphic or better yet, an actual stamping but then thought has to be considered where rain or other moisture will go once inside.
