Connectivity Package Question

I'm pretty sure I already know the answer, but figured I'd ask if anyone has any direct experience.

Is it possible to order the Convienince and Connectivity Package for 1SS and 1LT models after the fact? I pulled a complete brain freeze when placing my order and didn't realize it in all the excitement, but I didn't remember to add this option to my 1SS order. Of course the dealer didn't help me any by mentioning it as an option at the time either to remind me....but I digress.

I know the 4 pack gauge cluster is a dealer installed option...but wasn't sure if the C&C could be dealer installed or not.

i believe it can be added after not positive tho...

I don't think so...it's not available on the 1SS at all. Only listed as an option on the 1LT. Standard on the 2LT/2SS.

Just heard back from dealer...and adding its not available post production :(

Oh well...the leather wrapped steering wheel was the only thing that was much use to me...I don't own an IPOD to need USB connection...but a thumbdrive with .mp3s would have been nice.

I'll have to take a look at the radio, I would bet the connection on the back of the radio is still there, just doesn't have a cable attached to it. Might be easy enough to just run my own cable to just plug a thumbdrive in...I could care less about the steering wheel controls.

I don't even think you would have been able to add it "pre-production". It's easy enough to get the steering wheel wrapped.

Maybe not...but I would have thought if it's available option on the 1LT it would be available on the 1SS as well as an option.

I miss the days of being able to order a car and choose option by option instead of these option "packs" now days :P

Supposedly GM considered anyone buying a 1SS as someone who wanted a stripper model and wouldn't be interested in the package so they didn't offer it. I bet they will in future years.
