For those California people you'll be happy to know that Turbonetics isn't releasing any kits that aren't CARB exempt(approved). :D

Got some more details. The kit is most likely going to release with a 62mm compressor but the kit was designed to fit a T-series compressor cover so if someone wants to get really crazy later you could easily replace the unit in the kit with a 76 or 78mm turbo later for even more power. With the 62mm compressor Turbonetics is looking at making 625+WHP at 5-7 PSI on 91 pump. The final dyno chart and kit design is being unveiled at SEMA in a few weeks. I'll be there so I'll post up more photos, details, etc then. Hopefully I'll even get some video for you.

And why would you be doing all this for our benefit? Because you're just that nice of a person? Or do you have a stake in people buying from Turbonetics?

Might want to check with Tim aka OctaneSS/RS for some sponsorship details if you're wanting to push a product this hard.

I didn't think I was pushing the product that hard. I'm not posting cost, pushing anyone to purchase, or anything like that. All I have been doing is posting info on a new kit that's being developed. I'm not a vendor and I can't sell anyone a kit. In fact Turbonetics doesn't even sell direct to the public they only sell through the vendors which I am not. I am going to SEMA and I do know the guys at Turbonetics pretty well. If a sponsorship is required to post info on a new kit I'll be happy to send that to Turbonetics.

I was just asking. Info is cool, but this is the only thing you've posted about. There are many vendors paying to advertise here, and when the first and only posts by someone covers product information, it just looks suspicious is all. I don't think anyone is against learning about new products.

No worries here either. I totally understand. I heard that Turbonetics was developing a kit from my buddies over there and thought the Camaro guys and gals would want to know and see some info on it. Like I said I can't sell any kits and you won't see me even post about selling them. I was just putting up info as I got it.

Absolutely. As soon as I have more I'll post it up. I talked to my buddy again tonight and he's going to get some video of the car on the dyno either later this week or early next week. The car will definitely be featured at SEMA so I should have production kit pics then too.

So just a few updates that I got from Turboentics on the kit they have been working on. Turbonetics for now is going with a 72mm compressor instead of the 61mm they were going to use before. The 72mm compressor is good for 850 CHP of air which is quite a bit higher than the 61mm. Turbonetics is mocking up the 72mm on a Camaro they just bought. The 72mm is what they are using now but it may change later from what I'm told. Pictures of the current mockup 72mm below:
