That's right everybody, it's October so one of these were bound to happen. What's your favorite Horror Series/Movie?
I personally like the Scream trilogy, or atleast 1 & 2. They were the first slasher movies where the killer ran after you and that scared the crap out of me.
I use to be real big into zombie flicks when I was in HS but if you seen one, you've seen them all, though I don't mind watching 28 days/weeks later anytime it's on.
Anyone else not like the SAW series anymore? I really liked 1 & 2, but now I think they are just stupid as hell.

I also dig this movie called "Wrong Turn." It's so predictable but really graphic.
"The Descent" was good for me too. It turns from a chick flick to a bloodfest within 20 minutes. Then there's "The Mist"...
and "Mona Lisa Smile" With that horse-faced Julia Roberts.

My all time favorite is the "Nightmare on Elm Street" series, every one was a little different. I can't wait for the remake to come out even though I'll probably be disappointed...just won't be the same without Robert England playing Freddy

Pet Cemetery.
I first saw it when I was maybe 8 or 9. It made such an impression on me at that young age, while I have seen worse since, it still picks at my head.

Hmmmm, I love all horrors, the thing is a classic, the descent was a total surprise, and I have enjoyed the zombie remake of dawn of the dead.
Not that it's a horror, but you need to see Zombieland, kinell, I laughed so hard I thought a lung was gonna come out!!!

My fiance and I saw Zombieland a couple of weeks ago. It was perfectly executed.
Another Zombie flick is Night of the Living Dead, which was filmed just North of Pittburgh in Evans City.

Oh yeah..along with the "comical horror" gotta add in Shaun of the Dead..and most of Hot Fuzz(though the ending was rushed..and they even admitted to it).
I don't like actual 'scary' movies.

It just didn't pull off the stupid humor nearly as well as Shaun of the Dead...probably because it was a zombie movie.

The Saw traps are great. The premise/storyline gets a bit strained the further they go, but the movie promo posters for saw blood drive are kinda cool. Great twist at first, but it's getting a bit played out. I wouldn't go so far as stupid, but they are seemingly more hurried with a flimsy storyline.
Advice...do NOT allow this nurse to take your blood.

Zombieland got an A+ from me for graphical gore effects, especially for a comedy, but there wasn't enough of it. Quarrantine was good for shocking graphics as well, but it wasn't real scary.

Michael Myers is probably the scariest killer out there, Jason bores me and I've never seen a Freddy Movie. Leatherface is up there on my "I crapped myself" list.
