What is typical drivetrain HP loss?

Just trying to get an idea on my cars flywheel power.
98 Camaro Auto 4l60e with 12bolt.
What do you guys think?

There's alot of factors.....
which transmission, build of transmission (stock vs race), driveshaft material, rear-end type and material, etc etc etc

But typically you can figure 15% drivetrain loss for a manual and 20% drivetrain loss for an automatic.
Add maybe another 1% for a 12-bolt, or add 5-6% more for a 9-inch.

lol... do torque converter stalls play a role in drivetrain lost??

yes they do, the TC is where most of the torque, and HP are lost seeing as it is a fluid coupling between the engine and transmission there is no physical contact between the engine and the tranny, just fluid turning it.

Yeah, torque converters do play a major role.
Usually, the higher the stall RPM, the higher the drivetrain loss through it.
