I always wondered how the law works on that. They can drive the car on the street with no plates and is the Concept still have to be registered or what?

They probley had a permit. Also it looks like the road was closed off to traffic.
I would think it would be kinda like the permit you would have to have to film a movie car. I think they could also use man. plates as well, but this one doesn't have plates so I am guessing permit.

AFAIK, all the concept driving has been done on closed roads, GM-owned property, or special use permits.
