Don't the mirrors look too chunky to be on that car? I think it would have looked better with a bit more stagger to the wheels...Say 20x8s in the front with 22 x 10 or 12s in the back.

wheels look WAY to big for me.

What i do like that Dodge did was move the reflectors to the bottom of the car not to mess with the lines of the design. Might of looked better if the Camaro's were down lower.

Here's a better example of a nice Challanger. . IMO

I was thinking the same thing.

Don't you guys think the challenger is a little too retro? I mean, it looks like a smoothed out version of an old car. Where as the Camaro mixed retro good looks with dramatic futuristic flair.

Or maybe I just love the Camaro so much that I'm totally jaded against the other current muscle cars.

Who knows

Nah on the mirrors, the '05 Stangs are chunky...
But I have to agree on the wheels... the rake from the drop is nice, but slightly smaller wheels up front and beefier meats in back would set it off.

Dodge designed the Challenger to be Retro. . . Where as we all know Chevy designed the Camaro to be a MODERN car with retro cues.

I can't seem to sink that point in my dads head.

I don't.
Ford is the King of 'retro' designed late model rides for sure.
Chrysler did what they wanted to do with the Challenger as did GM with the Camaro - I'd take one of each if I could :D

Standing still the car looks great, but the wheels are too big to be practical for daily driving. With the drop in the suspension, there isn't much room left for any aggressive cornering without some form of tire/body contact.

The LX/LY cars can't run different size tire heights from front to rear due to the electronics. There are 4 wheel speed sensors and a tranny output sensor that must all read within the car's parameters or it will go into 'limp mode'. You can alter all the wheels/tires to any widths you want, but they must all be the same height.

I'm running 20x9 and 20x10 wheels with 265/45 and 295/40 tires on my Magnum. They are 29.5" at all 4 corners.

Everything about the first Challenger pic in this thread looks great (rake, ride height, color, and detail) except the wheels, I like the style of them, but everyone has been right so far that they are a little too big. If you had the size of the wheels from the black one and everything else was maintained it would be very good looking. I still maintain that they are just boats of cars, but a drop like that goes a long way.

Wheels are perfect, but the Challenger is a bit vanilla, IMO.
