So ummmm..... This begs the question.... There's the real grill at the bottom and a fake one above it. Why didn't they just make the fake grill the real one and do something more creative with the lower valance?

I thought the prototype was gorgeous, and I would've totally thrown down $50K for it. I'm sure plenty of people are cool with driving the production version, but I was hoping they would at least announce a sporty version spin off when they unveiled it. No such luck...
Oh well, at least I know how to get rid of disappointment.

They could have just put a slit or two and have much cleaner lines.
The closed grille helps aerodynamics and allows air to move more freely over the car. I think it looks pretty good. The lower air dam also acts as the grille, so I personally have no problem with the design.
