we took the Camaro to the drag strip back on May 29th, and i finally uploaded the videos. it had just over 400 miles on the odometer at the time. performance wise, the car was bone stock as it rolled off the assembly line... and it was tough to launch right. i never did get a perfect launch. i'd either bog or spin. i turned TC and stabilitrak off for all my runs. i didn't try "launch control" mode. i'll have to do that next time.
here's my best run of the night (i only made three passes and they were all kinda close in time):

Scott made a few passes too and he beat me by a tenth:

now we have a tune on the car and i can't wait to go back and see what the Bee runs now.

Well to be honest No Problem raceway has been lacking on track prep recently.
Hopefully it get better when the weather cools down some.
i dunno, one 4th gen snapped a rear end right after Scott's last pass, so it had to be biting. i think it's just me not being able to launch right.

Scott would drive around the box and then kinda back in. i'm not sure he realized he was going back into the water. me, i would just go around the water, do a quick clutch dump to kick the rocks off, and then go. i try to avoid the water at all costs on street tires and i don't heat 'em up since they just tend to get greasy.

Uhhh I never backed into the water box. I stayed just before it. My problem was trying to dump the clutch. I need to lower RPM. I think I have it figured out for next time.
Hopefully the Formula will be ready and if so it will be up to Selena to master Bumble Bee.
