DYNO'D IT TODAY 4-2-10

Dyno'd today, 75 deg F in AZ ( 0% humidity ) before the intake & tune it was at 360 RWHP, now I am at 383.8 RWHP @ 5800rpm as of the run today. I have pics of the sheet, and a vid, but not uploading it now. Thought I would get more, but then again PF, Mucker15 and a few others told me not to expect too much. Total mods to date are: GMPP axle back exhaust, Airaid cold air intake and a tune.

Well that's OK & Texas for ya, I remember blowing a rod through the bottom of the 454 in the motor home 50 miles west of OK on the 40 one summer, had to wait 4 hours for a semi wrecker to come tow us to OK City, that was a humid and miserable day. I used to travel that route from PHX to Chicago every summer, I would make it to the Will Rodgers Turnpike and pull over at one of those little spots with picknick tables and sleep for a few hours on the side of the road, figured that people who paid to get on a road wouldn't be likely to stop and mess with someone.

Cash - wise I think it has to be, everything else (non bolt ons) are even more expensive, before I started moding anything I was really hoping to see 500 RWHP with just bolt ons. I was quickly shot down by many members here and now my results prove them right. So now all I want for christmas is another 16.2 HP to the ground, at least I will have 400 HP to paint on the cowl/raised portion of the hood.

Right on man, guess I still am a novice at all this, I don't know what the downpipes v.s. the headders are. Other than that the mods I have done are pretty close to yours - CAI & tune, except my exhaust is axle back and the cats remain stock. Hoping that the headders will get me past the 400 mark. It has not even been a month yet, so I can't sink anymore money into it right now, hopefully soon.

Dyno'd mine at "Cars in the Park, Sierra Vistta, AZ, 2011 Camaro, auto, Borla S-Type CatBack exhaust, HallTech CAI, ran 338 RWHP in 4th gear all the way to redline, speed was 145MPH. I know this because I have the HUD and saw the 2SS hit redline and the 145MPH. Should I run it in 5th and 6th gears, well over 400 RWHP and probably hit the 180 no problem. Next run will be from 4th-5th-6th and we'll see exactly what it puts out!!

the proper gear to dyno in is 4th (to "see exactly what it puts out!")...power is dependent on RPM's, not on speed.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OBX-R...#ht_2117wt_939

Several camaro owners have got these with zero issues. The welds were great on my pair and they are stainless.

I have them on my car 413rwhp and 415tq
