ANY Camaro can be upgraded with a 4-gauge pack...and it is a simple plug and play once you switch out the faceplates. I installed mine myself in less than an hour.

The secret is to get the right 4-gauge pack. There are three different one's and they are not interchangeable. That's why my dealership said it couldn't be done in my 1LT...because they ordered both wrong ones and never the right one...lol. But I got the right part # from CamaroScotty and drove over and purchased mine from SSEric for $360 + tax.

Here are the part #'s for the gauges:

Automatic V6 or V8 - 92247189
Manual V6 - 92247187
Manual V8 - 92247188

Yes, like Envy said get the right option p/n. I went though gmpartsdirect.com for mine. Takes maybe 30 minutes to install. I would get some interior trim tools or borough some. That make the job easier. The only hang-up I had was the 12 volt plug. But it is all plug and play.

If you are interested. I believe, that I still have my install instructions from the kit. If you wish to look over.

That's funny...mine didn't even come with any instructions.

I don't have any trim tools and I don't think they are necessary for this install. The only real tip I have is put your passenger seat all the way back on the track and then pull away the panel on the side of the console starting at the front...I was able to pull it off in seconds with no tools and replacing it was super easy too.

Here is the install file. They are not best written set of install procedure, but it will get you there. Just don't force any the connectors and stuff like that. Mine gave a little grief with cigarette lighter (12V) but that was all. I wish that had taken some pictures along way but I didn't. But if search here and google you will find some. Good luck on the project.
