Has anyone with a Convertible tried this sub package yet?

Hey,
I don't have my Camaro yet, but it is ordered so I have been looking into audio upgrades that I want to do. One of the things I definately want to add is a sub. I know that JL has a stealth enclosure, but Crutchfield has that listed as $899 and that is without the amp even! That is too much for me definately. So I am looking at alternatives. One of the things I came accross was this downfacing enclosure from Pioneer.

Pioneer TS-SWX251 Compact sealed enclosure with one 10" shallow-mount sub at Crutchfield.com

It comes with a 10" sub already installed so just add amp and you are good to go. So has anyone used this setup? Amazon also has the empty enclosure for $70. So I might go that route to add a better speaker.

http://subthump.com

Seriously, Subthump has everything you need, and for a whole lot less than Crutchfield. I would also suggest SonicElectronix if you are a do-it-yourself'er like I am.

I most definately will. I am actually going to call my dealer today to get my tracking number on my order so I can look it up on the web and see where my car is in the process. Hopefully I will have it soon and I may order the sub so I have it here at the same time as the car to get it put in right away.

"get it put in?" You're not going to do it yourself?

No I will definately be putting it in myself. I am also going to swap out the factory sub. I will eventually do the factory amp and speakers too.

Ok, I have been looking around and everyone is saying that replacing the factory amp is the way to go for the best sound upgrade. So I am going to do this before buying a sub box, which I will probably get the stealth box from subthump for. So what do you guys think of this for an amp?

Amazon.com: Planet Audio AC1800.5 MOSFET Five-Channel Power Amplifier, 300 Watts x 4, 600 Watts x 1 MAX Power: Car Electronics Amazon.com: Planet Audio AC1800.5 MOSFET Five-Channel Power Amplifier, 300 Watts x 4, 600 Watts x 1 MAX Power: Car Electronics

Or I also found this one.

Amazon.com: Cadence Acoustics F100-5 1800 Watt Peak 5-Channel Class AB Amplifier: Car Electronics Amazon.com: Cadence Acoustics F100-5 1800 Watt Peak 5-Channel Class AB Amplifier: Car Electronics

One last question. I know I need the mount kits from subthump for both the amp and the factory sub that I will replace with a Sony XPload that I already own from a past vehicle. What else do I need?

I found a t-harness for the convertible on subthump but what about the harness that lets you feed back into the factory stereo?

Thanks for the help.
