Simple speaker up grade

Ok I have the LT1 without BA. I would just like to upgrade my front and rear speakers and maybe an amp or subwoofer. Any suggestions and bear in mind I am on a small budget less that 500. How diffucult is the rear speaker to remove and replace. I have read that we need to modify the rear speaker brackets. I have also heard that the back up sensor audio is connected as well. Any one have experianced this. I know about curtchfield and have am thinking about the fosgage speakers. How much of an amp would I need. Keep in mind I want to keep it symple..
