When backing out of angled parking and looking over my right shoulder it is very hard to see if someone is walking or a car is coming. Sometimes when making a u turn under a freeway the same angle can become a problem.

When I first bought my camaro the passenger side rear was difficult to see when backing out of the driveway. It hasn't changed but I did find different seat positions and I just go slower.

I seriously doubt that is a factor.

Why the heck are you trying to see anything other than the car in your windshield that you're passing anyways, the view out the windshield is great.

The view over the right shoulder through the triangle window isn't all that great to begin with and can be further obscured if the front passenger seat back is reclined. This is most vexing while attempting to back out of angled parking, as was noted earlier in this thread.

The perfect solution to this blind spot problem (at least the backing part) is a rear view camera. There are a bunch on the market at reasonable prices; some don't even require running cables from the camera to the monitor because they employ wireless technology.

when passing someone or even driving next to someone, your supposed to know where their at at all times. blind spots are not an issue. if you think someone is in a blind spot, speed up to check your rear view mirrio or slow down to see if they pass you. you should know where everyone around you is at all the time when driving. its not that hard.

with everyone complaining avout the coupe visability, the vert would have to be 10x's worse with the top up.
