As you can tell by the number of posts, I'm a rookie in this site, but might be spending more time here because another camaro site seems to have such a hidden agenda, that I don't see how any small vendor can prosper, and don't see how any of the big, favored vendors can ever do wrong, even when they do the wrong things by any business standards.
The moderators always "guide" a poster's question to one or two particular vendors, when as moderators, they really should be offering options for the poster to research and make up his or her decision.
And god forbid a poster criticizes one of the "untouchables." Some of the criticism is unwarranted, unprofessional, and uncalled for, however some are valid and should be posted for all members to view and make up their own minds whether they want to spend their hard-earned money on some pretty expensive products from one of these "untouchable" vendors. Their moderators do not even come close to giving an impression of being fair and impartial when it comes to vendor support. I just can't see a small vendor prospering there.
Now I don't know how things work here, but I've not seen too much of that. The members have their opinions and offer them without any hesitation, and that's cool because the poster can evaluate all of the responses and make a decision. But a poster should not be led by the hand to a vendor's door by a moderator...they should offered options by a moderator and a moderator should not support a vendor unconditionally when it comes to customer satisfaction issues.
But I guess sites of this nature are businesses too...and so it goes. Just wanted to give my opinion, FWIW. Is it me or does it just appear sometimes like the the playing field is not level?
Its business... or should be that way.. when it comes to that part IMO.
Personal part, were a good crowd/family.. here.. we squabble but at the end were good folk N' we work things out IMO.
Our venders here are family.. not so much just a vender

If you try and get any type of fairness on Camaro 5 then good luck with that!...I was told from the site founder that he does not beleive in free speech and if I didnt like that to leave....I left. So I can imagine you trying to sell something on their and not being in their little group of favorites...
Thanks for letting me rant folks. Glad it's not just me. Follow the rules...definitely, but let's level the playing field for vendors and believe or not, even the best vendors have bad days, but let them work it out with the poster, without the bully tactics. I think in the long run, this will make the vendor a better company...favoritism leads to complacency.
