This years display will include the 1932 “D” Rod street rod owned by the Detroit Visitor and Convention Bureau who will not only be welcoming guests and visitors to Detroit but, being in the Detroit Muscle display, will be introducing them to what the motor city is all about – Muscle Cars and especially Detroit Muscle. Along with the “D” Rod there will be close to 20 other cars including Hot Rod Magazines World’s Fastest Pump Gas Champion 1988 Ford Thunderbird, World’s Fastest Supercharged Station Wagon a 1991 Chevrolet Caprice, a 2009 Supercharged and Hemi powered Dodge Challenger, a fully blown and raced 1969 Plymouth Road Runner, a 1965 alcohol and blown Chevrolet Impala and a 1970 Pro-Mod Plymouth ‘Cuda owned by Tony Raffin. “This is one of if not the fastest collections of cars ever assembled in one place”, said Todd Burek, Vice President of Signorello Distribution.

In honor of the 40th Anniversary of the Hurst Shifter and Hurst model of Oldsmobile Detroit Muscle Motor City and Jax Wax will proudly feature the 1972 Hurst Oldsmobile that was the Pace Car for that year’s Indianapolis 500 and the father of the Hurst Oldsmobile Jack “Doc” Watson.
