Well actually I was referring to the harness for the RS. I have a 2011 2SS/RS, and I'm considering that harness with the flush-mount LED switch that allows you to toggle the DRLs on and off at night, since the harness makes the DRLs stay on with the headlights or halos.

edit - For clarification, I'm referring to the full plug and play wiring harness from Fieldgoal, not the wire in this thread that supplies power to the DRLs when the corner lights are on.

You should change the picture on your first post and on the ordering website page to avoid confusion. Where you say "One thing you will immediately notice is that the plug is detached from the actual bulb, this is because we put a voltage regulator in that cavity to prevent any damage from voltage spikes or other electrical issues." is not correct.

I ordered these on 4/2/12 and when I received them, they do not have the detached plug and are black instead of white. When I emailed about the difference, the following is the response I received:

"We upgraded them so that you do not have the extra wire to deal with. These will work just the same as the ones with the longer wire."

This is still the old style, but I would have no idea where to begin with these new "plasma" ones.

I really see no difference, legally, from using a green halo vs a green bulb. I'd prefer the bulb be green, and these can't be bought in that color, so I'm making my own. It's just a daytime running light. Its purpose is to make me more visible to other traffic. I see all kinds of wacky colors on car lights these days. If I get stopped, well, then I know cops don't like it, but I don't foresee a problem.

We did change the design of the P13W Plasma bulb to be brighter than the original Plasma bulb. You will notice that there is not any additional wire on the new style bulb; this is because the voltage regulator is built into the bulb itself!
