No issues with my Forgestar wheels. But I guess it would depend on the aftermarket rims. I know some people that have had major vibration issues with Savini wheels.

I haven't have Foose wheels on mine. GM has different balancers than some tire shops. Find a GM dealer that has a Force Match balancer. It will find heavy spots in rim and match them to light spots of tire and give a great balance. Call and tell them you want the tires and rims put on the road force balancer and match the tire to rim for best balance. If you don't understand that I can go into more detail.

Def NOT normal. Now it can be tricky to get them balanced properly depending on if you are requesting the weights on the inside only etc. Some even require a technique called Road Force balancing which simulates the load of the cars' weight on the rim & tire to ID the "heavy spots" in the rim and tire allowing a remount so they offset each other.

Yeah it can be a PITA but find another shop and then another til you get the right one. America's Tire/Discount Tire shops can do the Road Force balancing...

They have a balance issue. +1 to roadforce balancing if your having a problem.

i got the them balanced again fro the same shop. now i dont get the shake in the seat anymore. but still in the wheel but now it seems the shake is at 40 to 55 not at 70 to 85 anymore. so now i feel it has to be the shop and them. i am getting new rims next thursday and hope i still dont have the same issue. what do u guys think is it the rims or the shop or both thanks guys

No wheels or tires are ever perfect. But a good shop should be able to balance them. I'd take it somewhere else.

I had some bad shaking at 85+ mpg after purchase and modifications so I went back to the dealership and they said that the performance shop must have screwed something up so they would take it back over...then two days later it was perfect. I found out a week later that my car never went back to the performance shop (even though the dealership claims it did) but the problem was corrected so I know they had the balance wrong on the chrome RS wheels they mounted but weren't going to admit that they couldn't balance them right the first time.

I would try a different shop at this point for the balancing because I have no confidence in most dealership's abilities.
