Front shock towers. Should I be concerned ? Need help on a road trip

Im on a road trip for a week and just stopped for the night and was checking fluid levels and noticed both front shock towers are raised up about the housing under the hood. Is this ok? Are they adjustable and that's why they are raised a little ? The car was just at the dealership for inspection and oil change and they said nothing about this.

Any information would be great before I hit the road in the morning.

If you are referring to the gap between the retainer and the shock tower, it is normal. The upper piece is only a retainer to stop the strut/suspension from falling/hanging when the car is raised via the body/frame....
