road course wheel/tire setup?

2010 SS is getting upgraded suspension(sways, zl1 springs, bushings, trailing arms, rods) and brake rotors, pads. no coilovers yet. What would be the best setup? 18x10's all around? Does anyone know if 2000 corvette wheels would do the job, set being sold for 500.
Thanks for the help.
Chad
