RS Package with SS Rims

I'm getting the 2SS/RS Cyber Gray and I'm thinking that the midnight silver rims would be to much gray on the car. I've ask my dealer and he did know? Does anyone know if you get the RS Package could you keep the SS rims? Could anyone help me out?

you can get them polished...that's the only option you have. IMO, with gray, that's the way to go.

I saw the polished rim in a picture and dont really like them. So you don't think i can get the RS package that comes with the (20" painted aluminum with midnight silver), and just take them out of the package and keep the 2SS rims? (20" painted aluminum rims with sterling silver finish)

well maybe you dealer can order them and have the dealer just put them on and deduct the price from your cars rims that they came with..and they put them on another car..if your dealer is cool with it.

aren't they're the same rim...just polished? I think your best bet would be to find someone with a non-RS and swap rims. I doubt you'll find a dealer willing to do that.

I think the rears are 9" wide (front's are 8") if I'm not mistaken.

The C6 Corvette uses a 245 front and 275 rear, but the stock wheels are 18x8.5" and 19x10" compared to the camaro's 20x8 and 20x9.

The Camaro is already limiting how wide you can go on the stock wheel because the wheel is a little narrower than ideal, to save on cost.

The Corvette can take a 265 width up front and 305 in the rear without noticeable sidewall bulge or rubbing. But... at 305, that is 20% wider tread than wheel. The stock 275 tire on a 9" wheel is also 20% wider tread than wheel....meaning that a 275 is about as wide as you want to go on the stock wheel.

I like Hennessey's idea: Just use the 19x10 and 20x12 wheels from the ZR1 on the Camaro.

Would like to see pics of midnight silver on RS

Hi, I have seen tons of pictures of the SS/RS but most of them have the polished rims. I went with the RS option but made no changes. In the picture in the build area of Chevy Camaro, I see the color change and am not sure I will like it with the black car. I have been looking at every pic to try and see what they really look like in person. Can anyone direct me to a pic that shows the midnight silver rim, preferrably on a black car, but if not any color will do... Please help!!!

Thanks everyone!!!
