Electronic cutouts??

I was wondering if anyone is running these without aftermarket headers? I put flowmaster 40 series mufflers on my car but not real impressed with it so im thinking of putting some cutouts on so i can have the deep throaty noise when I want it and the nice quiet noise when im traveling. Any suggestions?

I'm sure you can get them installed with the stock manifolds. I have 1 electric cutout in my 99 WS6, it has the stock manifolds and it sounds good. Not as good as the LS3...(probably because they are true duals and I'm running 2 cutouts). Very Very Very happy with the sound with my 10' SS though! With them open....you loose torque....but gain power....so it doesn't feel as powerful....but it's great when you can either close them...or open them from a switch. Best of both worlds

I'm also running factory exhaust (minus the kooks headers and high low cats) so I can have it quiet as well.

I have electrical cut-outs on my V6 but I have headers too. I have heard cut-outs on a V6 and V8 with the stock manifolds and throaty is NOT the word I would use for the sound.
IMO...cut-outs or deletes without headers = loud but not in a good way.

Ok thanks! Does headers void the warranty?

Yes...they void part of your warranty. But I'd rather have the sound than a warranty any day.

Here's a video clip of the difference the cut-outs make on my V6. I have the Flowmasters, JBA SS Short Headers and an Airaid CAI in addition to the Race Ready Performance cut-outs...and the sound really rocks for a 6.
