Car Museum

I just visited (in Greenwood, Indiana) a museum. All sorts of old cars but there was two 2ndGen 1970 SS Camaro's there, one white, one supraOrange. I was so awed, Wow. $125,000 stickers on them. They had a '67 for $56k too, it was the least expensive of the group. I can't believe how sharp they make them with resoration!!!! It was really unbelievable. I don't really hobby the car shows or anything but this place is so close to home, I can see that changing.

Museum Location

1280 U.S. 31 South
Greenwood, IN 46143

It's directly next door to Ford dealership and behind Buick dealership. It's completely unmarked and all windows are tinted. Huge bldg, almost looks empty til you get inside!!!; it's nice. You must go!

THere is a pretty cool car collection here in town. He has a running turbine car. I have been there, and he will talk your ear off but he has lots of old rare cars. His name is Frank Keptz.

Bill Estes has a collection. I didn't know that but his people left a bad taste in my mouth. After talking to his dealership in the north side and they wouldn't budge on there 5 to 10k over invoice. I told them to piss up a rope and i would go to Andy Mohr. lol

But i will have to check that one out in greenwood. Do you have to call before hand??

Open to public today...

I suppose it's always open, at least there was no special reason for today when I found it. My son just happened on it and mentioned to us so today we stopped by. I really think it's open pretty much regular. There were a couple of guys doing what I thought looked like restorative work on some machines and at least 100 cars in there. Two 2nd gens, about ten 1st gens, two 3rd gens and zero 4th. There's about 20 Mustangs, 10 or 15 Corvettes and a bunch of 50's model Chevy's, Ford, Oldsmobiles, Chryslers.

....then you are gonna L-O-V-E this place. Be sure you read the address and all and look for the bldg cause it's really not advertised outside at all. Which has it's good advantage. It's nice an quiet inside too, no hoop-dee at all.
