How do I tell if this 68 SS is for real?

Found a 68 SS covertable which is a 350 4 speed car. What does it have to have to be an original SS? It has a 12 bolt and front discs but what else should or must it have. Thanks for the info...

FYI, the '68 model year is the most difficult year to prove if the car is an actual SS or not. The '67s and '69s were decently documented via the cowl tag, but it seems GM got a little lazy with the '68s and didn't document/stamp them as detailed. Without actual documentation or ownership history, it makes a 68 hard to verify.
