My new buildup.

Ok, I was about ready to do a buildup when something presented it's self that I couldnt pass up.

My build was going to consist of...
Stock ported by BES heads
mti x1 camshaft 230/228 .591/.571 112 LSA
full roller rockers (stock ratio)
ls2 timing chain
comp 918 springs
hardend pushrods

that combo would make around 410-430 RWHP when tuned.


My new set up is.....
A magnacharger kit.
found a complete kit on craigslist for 1800!!! talked the guy down to 1500.
The kit is actually inteded for a 5.3 or 6.0 truck

it wont work on a 4th gen, but it will on an lsx swapped third gen!!

If you want to see almost the exact buildup im doing go to www.speartech.com and go to company project cars, then to 91 ls1 z28 phase 2. has alot of pics!

the kit includes
supercharger and manifold
fuel pump
fuel injectors
2 different pullies to change boost
water pump
innercooler

and a bunch more stuff im forgetting.
depending on how much I do with it, I could easily see 500 RWHP!

2005 CTSV BLACK LS7 Clutch/Flywheel/Slave, Tick Speed Bleeder, Tilton Clutch MC, RevShift Bushings, Domestic V8 Solutions (shifter, 8.8 Diff conversion, srut tower braces, sub-frame connectors), SLP cats, no cags, xpipe, bullet mufflers, Volante, iPod dock, G-force tune; 379hp 381tq.

Killing 5th gens like it is my job.

not sure when its all going to get installed, im going to need a few things.

truck pullies and brackets, different hood (my side buldge MAY work).

will be selling my cam, heads, strut tower brace, and everything that was going in with the cam/head swap.

awesome. My next build will consist of boost and LSx. but i hope this motor stays together for a few years.
