I am swapping out the Trick Flow heads and cam for AFR 195 eliminators and bigger cam on my 87 IROC.
The engine is out and waiting for the cam to arive.

This is a link to pics,

The big man is my little brother ( well, younger) and the little man is my 6 yo son.

Anyone interested in following this build to Dyno day?

Well that seems to be a delicate subject on a couple of other boards I frequent, but with a good tune I will be dissapointed if it puts down less than 370 RWHP, 420 RWT and runs slower than 12.20's. Thats with a 2800 stall in a 700R4 A4. The key will be the intake, not sure if it will support the heads.

What intake?

good thing you arent running the tpi, i would say under 300 rwhp with tpi, but you have a carb setup, so i dont see why you wouldnt hit your goal of around 400.

It made 300 RWHP and 360ish RWT with an A/F ratio over 15 / 1 with the last settup. I am swapping out the old Twisted Wedge Trick Flow's for a set of AFR 195's and the old Crane Cam HR 276-2S-12 IG, .488I, .509E, 214I , 222E will be replaced with a new Comp HR, 112 spread, 108 intake centerline, I .567I, E.584, 224I, 230E duration.

It will get a good tune also.
