Spring Changeover Time

Geez.
I still love my 4th Gen Z28.
I know that's a good thing, because I'm in no hurry to go out and order a new Camaro. Is it going to kill me to see the new ones on the street? yep.
Oh well.
The winter tires and stock aluminum wheels came off today, and new F1 GS-D3 went on my stock chrome wheels. Really a killer look.
Made it thru 85,000 miles so far using only two sets of well rotated GS-Cs. Some sidewall damage to one, really left me no viable option to a new set. I just can't stand seeing 4th gen Z's with anything other than some primo Goodyear rubber.
Here's a couple of pics after I got the rear wheels on.

Sorry. Hope that got a laugh out of ya. I've seen you're havin a tough month.
It's a '97, and my best picture ever of it is on the last page of the "post pics your 4th gen F body" thread.

Probably the best vehicle for the money ever. Especially since I bought mine when it had 4,500 miles on it, already titled once, for 75% of the list price 12 years ago.

lol but my month has been turing around some.

Wow I saw that pic and it is nice. Don't sell it until it's classic.

It's funny how your perspective changes as you get older. I was in High School in 1981, and a 12 year old car would have been an absolute antique to me.
Now I feel like I just bought my 12 year old car yesterday.

Thanks for the compliment. Good luck!

Ironicly I'm a junior in highschool driving a 12 year old car also and looking to dive a few more years older car with possibly a bigger engine but a stick for sure.

Holy ****skies.

Pouring like a mother in Chicago today, so I really got my first chance to see what my new Eagle F1 GS D3s could do on very wet pavement.

Mind blowing. The traction control didn't kick in once. Each start, harder and harder, flawless acceleration. The light is on, so I'm pretty sure it's working.

Seriously, get yourself a set of these tires. I can't recommend them highly enough.
Will definitely be my replacement choice on my, eh hem, next car too.
