To get the most "bang for your buck," most people will recommend an intake/exhaust combination. By no means is it cheap, but you're probably looking at $300-$350 for a reputable intake (please don't get one of those $50 ones off Ebay), and another $300 (steel) to $600+ (stainless steel) and whether you want a single or dual setup.

If you don't have the funds to upgrade the intake/exhaust at the same time, I would recommend the exhauast first, followed by the intake, and maybe even some headers if you're craving even more power after those first two mods. Once you start, you just can't stop...trust me.

Have you considered a V8 swap at all? I'd hate to see you put all your time and money into your v6 when a LT1s are very cheap nowadays.

Yah I considered that but can't find a doner car, need one cause i will need the ecm, k-member, engine,wiring......ect ,ect ,ect. just wish what i have was a little more peppy. right now the car would be great for a parent to buy 4 a kid (looks cool, good on gas , cheap 2 insure ,t- tops but not as dangerous as a bad ass 6 spd lt1.) I only gave $800 for it but had 2 put in a fuel pump, trans mount, ball joints, control arm bushings, and a few other little things on it , so i got about $1500 in it.
