Camaro / Firebird similar?

Hi everyone, first time post from Australia so go easy on me!
As you would imagine spare parts do not come easy over here but i have an opportunity to buy a 1997 Trans Am rolling shell .
As per my alias I own a 1994 Z28 Camaro and I would like to know if and what parts will swap?
Eg. is the unibody, doors, brakes, suspension & rear hatch the same ?
The Trans Am does not come with motor, trans & front panels.
Thanks

from Id. & Welcome to

Yes... some body parts do have different side markers, vents & so forth, that don't match.,
firebird's & or camaro's have the exact body's tho.
Hope that helps & have a great day.

Welcome to the site Aus94Z28.....

As for suspension, they are virtually the same, when you're dealing with the Z28 and Trans-Am. Interior, there are quite a few differences, including the radio and complete sound system, but could easily be swapped out. The Trans-Am had more speakers than the Camaro, which always confused me. Also, the front fascia, hoods, rear deck lids, and rear fascia are all different. Yes, they are interchangeable, but nothing alike. The platforms are 100% identical, most of the differences are just cosmetic....

Hope that helps mate!!

Cheers!!
