VATS SYSTEM OF FUEL PUMP

Have a question for all the camaro experts. I was given a 94 v6 thats been sitting for about 5 years in storage. I replaced the gas in it. When i try to start it, it cranks but doesnt start. The security light come son and stays on for about 5 seconds. You cant hear the fuel pump kick on either. I changed the relay for the fuel pump to. Not sure if this is the vats key system of the fuel pump out. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

If the vats was bad you won't even be able to crank it. Sounds like the pump.

Verify 12 vdc or more at wiring harness above rear axle before fuel tank. If voltage is present, then fuel pump shot. Don't forget the fuel filter after you restore fuel flow.

Shows you where my head is at. When I saw VATS I started thinking Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System...

I never heard of VATS either. All I could come up with was

T**
Sucking
