I had my CLUTCH, master and slave cylinder replaced in my 99 camaro. Then one night driving home my peddle hits the floor and stays there. look under car and the quick disconnect came loose and I can't get it to stay in every time I put it in and press the peddle down it comes loose again and fluid leaks out from where it connects to the slave. What am I doing wrong and how can I fix this problem?
Yeah, I just wanted to make sure you didn't lose it. IIRC, that's what keeps it held in place. It's been about 4 years since I did a clutch swap on a LS1 F-Body, so I'm a bit rusty. You are definitly going to want to bleed the system once you get it figured out.
