* Checking your order status *

I mentioned it before, and I'll GLADLY ('cause I'm CAMARO SCOTTY) mention it again...

Your order is assigned a six-digit alpha-numeric order number which is necessary to track an order. The best method to track the order is to stay in touch with your ordering Dealer. Some people have bought from a salesman who may not have access to the GM system - so you may have to talk to the General Manager of the dealership; however, you can also track the order by contacting the Chevrolet Customer Assistance Center at 800-222-1020.

I tried calling, just to practice I guess. Will we get any results if "production" hasn't started yet??? Is there a map for getting through the automated answering system to get it to "hear" our order number so that we can have status checked??? I tried 3 times, during non-business hours. Didn't get anywhere.

i tried during business hours and didn't get anywhere either. the first time i called i selected the prompt for sales. the lady was real nice, but she couldn't give me any info. she said next time i call to press the prompt for warranties. i called a week later and got warranties. that lady was real nice too, but couldn't help me either. she said they wouldn't be able to track orders until production actually started. so i gave up. i'll just keep bugging Eric @ Classic to track my stuff.

I enjoy being bugged, actually I get a kick out of watching the anticipation grow and grow espicially one the order gets picked up! So I guess it's not bugging if I enjoy it, besides it only takes a second.

If anyone has an order number that would like me to check their status, PM me and I'll let you know where you stand

If we are in the april build, when can we expect GM to pick up those orders? Even if it's to just accept them, and then hold on to them until april.
