It seemed like they made this review to perhaps put the Camaro in last place.

I don't think they're putting it in last place, they just were tougher on it than some of the other reviews. They sum it up with:

Look at the value-for-money and the performance numbers of the Camaro combined with its Dragon-tastic looks and you can't help but feel GM has a winner on its hands. It'll beat its competitors hands down, not only in a numbers-based pissing contest, but also in the public's imaginations:

Which I don't take as a bad thing. It's just tough to surpass expectations when you've been waiting for so long.

To me it read like the review of a guy that doesn't like the car, but doesn't want to burn any bridges with GM either.

Pretty dense of me not to have noticed what it was about the seats that distracted me so much at the Chicago Auto Show. I'm guessing they've "grown" because of intensified safety regulations, but those headrests are going to really take some getting used to. With so much less glass, obstructions are even more distracting.
