Who has driven SS with the L99?

My first post and you guys (and girls ) are awesome...so much good information. I have already placed my order (recently, still at 1100 status) and went with the A6 for several reasons (yeah, yeah...I know, real men drive sticks, etc...) but I really would like to hear how the thing actually drives. All the reviews so far all focus on the LS3. I was hoping someone on here, one of the VERY BLESSED few who have been driving some of the test vehicles around, could share their experience with the L99...in more words then just "get the manual"...I want to know acceleration, sound (inside and out), how well the tap-shift works, etc. Thanks!!!!!

I have driven a pre-production L99 car.
The sound and acceleration are just as awesome as the LS3.
I have not used the tap shift feature yet though.

Also, the operation of AFM is seamless, you don't even know it's turning on or off.

I drove the same car as Tim, and though we weren't able to use the tap shift, the acceleration was plentiful and the exhaust note was just right.
