GM Customer Loyalty Credit of $1000 - Dealers Please Explain

Can some of the dealers on this forum please explain the GM Customer Loyalty credit and whether it is applicable to the 2010 Camaro. Do you need to currently own a GM vehicle? How long is the credit available? Is it valid when you take delivery of the vehicle or when you order the vehicle?

Trying to determine if I qualify for the credit. I have a 2010 Camaro on order for my wife and the car will be in her name. I currently own a GM SUV and the vehicle is in my name. Does my current GM vehicle title need to be in both of our name to qualify for the credit? Does the new vehicle (2010 Camaro) title need to be in both of our name to qualify for the credit?

It's probably going to depend on the dealer.. Some will honor all discounts on a 2010 Camaro.. I.E. (Camaro Scotty @ Newman Chevrolet)
and some will not honor any discounts on the 2010 Camaro, like for example......

I am not aware of a Loyalty rebate being offered at least in our region. But if the rebate was being offered, the dealers would honor it. That is a GM Rebate so the dealership does not lose the profit. You only qualify for the incentives offered at time of delivery or when you have a VIN if your dealer will allow you to do your paperwork early.

The last 2 Camaros we delivered both recieved the $1000 loyalty credit. Hope this helps. As to the other question If the registered owner of the Gm vehicle lives at the same address as the buyer they qualify, ie Current GM vehicle in Husbands name and wife is purchasing, wife can use loyalty.
