Hey, don't get me wrong...I'm a gun toting Texan but...I'd rather have the dealer offer a free dealer installed option on my new car up to $1000 in value.

Just me...

My dealership would never do anything of this kind. I could deal with them giving away handguns (I have a concealed handgun lic). But I don't condone this kind of thing, not everyone is capable of owning a gun.

needs no explanation

I just saw it and thought that was an interesting way to get customers in the door. We have given away Remington Shotguns w/ the purchase of a Remington Edition Silverado. Or I guess I should say that Regency gave the gun away since it was their truck conversion package.

Besides, it's just another "GIANT PURPLE GORILLA" tactict to get people in the door and to get name recognition...

I'm sure if you just wanted the $450 dollar off they would do that too.

A gun is a tool. So is a car or a hammer. They're giving one away? Cool!

Wow.. what a backwoods pr!ck. I don't so much have a problem with the promotion, whatever he needs to do to sell cars, but his "defense" of the promotion...God wants us to defend ourselves, America is a Christian nation, 80% classify themselves as Christians....I guess they don't read or have the internet down there in rural Missouri. I hate CNN with a passion, don't get me wrong, but I commend the newslady for having the restraint to not rip this country bumpkin a new one. If he had insulted me like that, I don't care how fast I'd lose my job, I'd tear him a new one.

There is a huge difference between a handgun, a shotgun, and an AK-47. Nobody needs an AK-47 unless they are in some sort of shooting competition for SMGs. I'm all for the second amendment, but come on now guys.

The Camaro is 100 hp past its competition. The V6 is running with the top of the competition. In other words, if these cars are the whipped cream and the lower trims are the shake, the Camaro V6 is the cherry on top, and the Camaro SS is the person eating the whole ****ed thing.
