Break In?

The car should be in any day, LS3, what kind of break-in procedures are people using? We want to get it to the dragstrip ASAP, a couple hundred miles then go?

There is alot of debate as to how to break the car in. Some say hard some say easy. You can check out the discussion that we had here.

Fifty years from now, when you're looking back at your life, don't you want to be able to say you had the guts to get in the car?

I'd wait at least 500 miles before the drag strip, but during those miles drive it normal, there's no need to be extra gentle.

Btw, my odometer just rolled over 3000 miles this morning. I picked up the car with 8 miles on it on 6/19.

Still legal in 16 states. It's happy. It's fun. It's Happy Fun Car.

I'd go by what the owners manual recommends

Joe :: Over Anxious 67 Camaro RS/SS L78 // Michigan Classics
Chevrolet Camaro in Transformers // My ebaY auctions

Hot Rod Search Google searches for gearheads!
