Those stats aren't meaningful really without knowing production schedules and the amount of sold orders, etc. After all, Camaro could be EASIER to get if they added a second shift for instance. Or harder yet if they didn't work Saturdays. So marketing and logistics has a huge hand in the availability. I'm happy there is a big demand for the Camaro, but that demand/supply ratio can and is somewhat manipulated.
It's understandable to keep the one shift for now because later, if demand does slack, then laying off an entire shift would not be a great move.
