Camaro Stripes

My brother in law has his Camaro on order, actually produced waiting to be shipped. He had heard that the stripes were now being put on at the factory if ordered, any truth to that. He wanted to get them painted on and is now worried that they will be installed already?

Yes, that's correct. I think it just applies to the rally stripes. If he's not happy with how they look, he could always peel them off and get them painted.

Garage
if he ordered stripes, he's getting them...expect a little delay though...take a while to get those factory stripes on.

He ordered the solid stripe and hockey stripes, will that still be installed? Or just the twin rally stripes?

The stripes are put on by the dealer. Just call the dealer and tell him you don't want the stripes put on. The factory doesn't put on any stripes.

Sounds like he ordered the "hood and deck", "bonnet and boot" stripes as well as the hockeys, which are different than the rally stripes. Are they still installed at at the factory? Or is it JUST the rallys that are installed at the factory?
