Keep your foot out of the throttle body and you'd probably do better.

If you bought a car for gas mileage..you'd have one like mine.
Though I am averaging about 29mpg now....

I am one of those people the "greeners" complain about...
I buy a vehicle made by my fav company (GM) based on what I feel comfortable in regardless of gas hog mileage
I have owned many camaro's and even a few vette's but I cannot remember any vehicle I purcahsed for gas reasons...not even my motorcycle

needs no explanation

I too never asked the salesman what kind of gas milage am I going to get. everycar I bought in the past was for the looks , power or reliabilty. when I as the salesman at chevy when i ordered my camaro i asked him how much hp those this baby have. nice. right know I get about 15 mpg but i dont drive it much.
