Question..Is it...?

Hey whats up guys, i"m new here and I absolutley love the new camaro and was wondering if someone could answer some questions?[INDENT]1.I have a 1990 rs is it worth it to trade for a fifth gen or should I keep it?
2.What model should I buy? Is it worth the money?
3.Why shouldn't I go and try to buy the new challenger, I love it and the camaro equally, don't hate.

thanks[INDENT]

You'd get more if your sold your car privately. I'm sure it's paid off, so you'd be better off holding out for someone to give you a couple grand (if it's really clean).

As for which model you should get? I don't think that is really a question to ask us here. We don't know you or your intentions. It is easy for me to say SS, but.. If you just want something nice to cruise around in but are not much of a speed freak, you may just want to save the money and go with a V6. Heck, get another red RS to match your '90. Nothing like having both to show was 20 years of technology can do

Why shouldn't you try the Challenger? I dunno -- you tell us! Go give it a shot.

The camaro is a great car. Whether it's worth the money and which model to buy is really up to you and your financial situation/personal preferences.

I like the Challenger...if there were no Camaro, I'd probably consider buying one...but between the two it's Camaro FTW.

ok well heres my situation, to help you understand a lil better, i'm 16 now can't buy it til i'm 18 ,which is a year and a half away, by that time I should have $ 14,000 with the inclusion of my car if everything goes well, I have a led foot and love to have fun with my car, i'm up to modding it and not sur if I wanna pay the $35,000 for an ss, but i dont think I want a v6 either I really want something with a good size engine, affordable price, a good radio with mp3 stuffs, and might want ground effects if there worth the price

[sorry its so long]

Always better to try to sell a car on your own.

I'd use that money saved up for a good college education and drive your current car as long as you can. Unless you have college tuition figured out.

Your mind will change a million times. Enjoy the dreaming, but take that cash and put it towards college.

If you don't want to spend $35k, your best bet is probably to look for a used one when you're ready (would also be less to insure). OR, go for the 1SS ($31k).
