Noticed this when I brought my Camaro home...

...but really didn't pay too much attention to it. It's on both sides of the car, a little more on the right side. See the attached pics. As you can see it's not smooth like the rest of the area. Perhaps paint excess? Not sure. Have any of you guys seen this on your Camaro? Is this something to worry about? I know it is not visible unless you really look for it but after you pay what you pay for your vehicle you expect for it to be perfect.

I'm with 54 on this. I'm not sure I'd ever even think about looking for something like this -- I'd be too busy enjoying the drive!

It looks to me like an area that won't be visible is not prepped as thoroughly for paint as an area that will be visible.
I wouldn't worry about it in any way, shape, or form.

You gotta see Jack.

I don't know. Didn't even think about it until now that you brought it up. Do I need to contact the dealer?

I'm like that. Nothing escapes my eye. That is what the military does to you, attention to detail.

So there is a stripped version? I was going to call the dealer to see what they have to say.
