My car got a couple of problems: rubbing in reverese and Radio issues

Took it to the dealer today with 2 issues.

1) Car is making a rubbing sound in reverse. At first it only did it with the wheels turned, now its doing it with the wheels straight as well.

2) Numerous problems with the radio. At times it will not fast forward or reverse on an MP3 on a USB drive, other times it will never stop. When it won't stop the radio will not turn off. Turning off the key is the only way to stop it. Clock won't keep the time, and it won't keep the correct date. I set the date 2 weeks ago, and when I got it out of the garage on Friday, the date read 11/15/2009. On Sunday it read 18/11/2009. There is definitely a gremlin in the radio somewhere.

Anyone else have radio issues like that?

I think there's a software update that will take care of the radio problem.

The rubbing might be a heat-shield hitting your driveshaft.

2010-2SS/RS/LS3/IBM/RP6: ECS-Paxton Supercharger / American Racing Headers & Exhaust / PFADT Suspension / DSS 9" 4.10 Rear / FOR SALE!

Dead on both accounts They also said there was a recal on the HVAC modules, which they took care of as well.

cool, hope it was a quick, easy fix. nice to know I'm right every once in a while (just wish my wife would realize it).

I'm not sure TSB's have "affected VIN's" listed (don't remember seeing any)...more like, "if there's a problem, they'll fix it" sort of thing.

We have been having intermittent issues with the Radio since day 1 but they all seem to have something to do with the USB connection. Last night was the most recent. After connecting the iPhone to the unit, the display on the dash was blank, but showed the CD icon but no controls worked. Only option was to switch back to the radio. Other weird issues have occurred and it only seems to get worked out if we stop the car, turn it off, and restart.
