Rescued a stranded Camaro today

So I get off work at 6 and head to Target to look into one of the coolpix cameras my wife wants. Get there and saw the lines to the cash register wrapping all the way around the store and decide F that I'll wait and pay full price and leave to go home. On the way I see an ABM Camaro then notice it's on the side of the road with it's flashers on. Hmm that can't be good. Got my tools in the trunk so I turn around and pull over just ahead of it, get out and start walking to it and ask the obligatory "Problems?", when she rolls down the window (Yes I know, here's your sign). The lady inside says yes laughing that she ran out of gas. I ask if she needed me to get some gas for her and she told me her niece had walked to the nearest gas station and asked if I would pick her up and bring her back, (I'm in uniform and have the same tags for the small town we live in so I guess she trusted me enough). Go down to store and pick her up bring her to the car and put the gas in for them. Doing so I asked her how they liked the car (it's a 2SS/RS BTW) and they both replied that they loved it but was going to have the light checked because she said the fuel light never came on. Then we part ways and I headed home. I have to say ABM looks much better to me in person than it did in the pictures.

Great work. Good to know they are still people out there willing to help a stranded motorist.

I guess we can start the countdown to someone coming on here and complaining about the crappy fuel pump GM used on their car now, huh?
