Thumbs up Across the county in a Rented Camaro

Last night about 11pm i saw a silver 2010 Camaro Lt driving... while taking the gf home...

of course i chased it down (in my focus) ...
i am always up for meeting new Camaro friends!

As i got closer i noticed the plates were from California... note im from ohio. Finally he pulled in a store and parked i followed right behind him.

turns out the two guys were from cali and rented a 2010 Camaro for thier trip!
all the way from cali to ohio and back.

both were amazed how great the car was..
they were really impressed with GMs new creation.
and had nothing but good stuff to say ... and about how fun the ride was travling across the country...

how many looks... comments... etc...

he was amazed by the bond between camaro owners...
along the way he said how many other 5thgen owners stopped him....
we share a great family!!

ohh and the rev limiter is 118 on the v6... he said he has no idea how he knows that lol

the driver went on to say he hopes to buy one soon if his wife allows it lol

we talked for about 45min, about options, colors and so on...
then he went on his way .. and headed back to cali today

just thought it was a cool story to share :-)

Sweet, I have a dream of renting a Camaro and driving from Chicago to L.A. then flying back.

I had seen 24-25 mpg in my SS traveling acrost the U.S.
I have also stopped people who rented Camaros (all 1ss A6), in CA I met a couple from Austrailla, in AZ I met 3 german guys in 2 Camaros and a Vette, they have a video of their road trip in the us, check youtube -flatoutproject.com. Every person I have stopped or passed by in a Camaro has been cool except for 1 in upper MI.

Go to http://www.cheers*****.com/Camaro.html to view picictures of my Camaro!

Some places don't have a limit on miles, some make you pay for a day for x number of miles. Just depends.

Fifty years from now, when you're looking back at your life, don't you want to be able to say you had the guts to get in the car?
