Question on availibility

I see in a number of forms many people waiting for their order. In California many dealers have them in stock. Is this different in other parts of the US?

The orders you are talking about were probably placed a while ago when it was tough to get your hands on one of these cars. Plus many dealers were asking for a few k's over MSRP if trying to buy a car that was in stock. Placing an order was the best thing to do to a least get MSRP price and the exact features you wanted.

I did a search in my area (Northern Virginia/D.C.) and found 50 Camaro's in stock within a 50 mile radius. I only searched for 2lt's though. I'm sure a lot more would've showed up had I searched for 2SS and 1lt's. They're everywhere now. Of course, it'll be easier to find them in bigger cities/states where the demand is higher.

Yeah, there are many many Camaros in stock at dealers everywhere.
If you find one in stock that you like, you can drive it home same day!

But if you prefer to order one exactly how you want it, the process from order to delivery is usually around 6-8 weeks. Sometimes faster, and sometimes slower too.

dealers have them coming out of their arses here, multiple vehicles at each dealer. When they were first arriving and selling like mad, dealerships over-estimated a fad...........now there sitting in the rain collecting dust.

$2000 OFF sticker here.

Been search the chevy website for weeks looking for a 1 rs/ss M6, with the BA audio upgrade. Searched 150 miles from my zip code (Pasadena CA) 150 miles from Santa Cruz, CA, and 150 from Vegas. No luck. If you know of one in California, let me know. Maybe my dealer can do a swap. The sooner the better for me.

IBM RS/SS: Vortech V3 (7.5lbs/boost) Trinity/Dyno Tune/Texas Speed LT w/Magnaflow Comp MGW Shifter/Tint/Heritage Grill/AVIC Z120 Orion Sub & Amp/Bravado Wheels (20 x9.5/11) Just fast enough ... for now!
