what do you guys think about this...

Everyone knows the rule of thumb to calculate engine horse power is wheel horse power divided by .85
Do you guys use that for saying your engine horsepower or doing a badge?

I want to do a badge on the inside of my car.
My rear wheel HP should be 590 to 600 from what the shop got before with same exact mods. if you take 595wHP/.85 = 700HP
Just seems like alot to lose.
those stock 372wHP/.85 = 438HP
(which is closer to what crate LS3's get on engine dyno then what chevy put out..)
so stock it loses 66HP to drivetrain I dont understand really how adding HP adds more drag in the drivetrain.
I seem how it works for a stock car because more HP more drivetrain probably weighs to beef it up to handle power..

Ok Im getting off topic.
Do you think it is ok for me to say or put 700HP at engine for the car if I get 595wHP or higher?

I'm a fan of the cubes -- it throws people off. Horsepower is going to change as you do more mods.

I agree it change but as long as I am at or more then what I say or show I am happy.. like the 725HP shelby super snake dynoes stock 610 to 635wHP
if I dyno 600wHP I figured be fine to say 700HP
Since most non car people dont understand HP and wheel HP

Thank you.. I loved that lil thing.. but I had to sell mine too.. I got medically discharged from the military so couldnt afford two car payments anymore..
car trapped 126mph with 450wHP
Camaro will take 600wHP or more to trap that.. god this car is a heavy beast LoL
My goal was just to make it as fast as SRT4 60 to 130mph but have the better launch of a rwd car with 305s (plan later down the road)

wow, you had some $$ in the SRT4. . . I only had the stage 1 kit. . some springs and visual mods.

I do have to say the seats are some of the most uncomfortably seats I ever had in a car.
